PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an independent brake operating cable independently actuating a front or rear wheel brake as one cable in an interlocking brake device used for a small vehicle such as a motorcycle. SOLUTION: An independent brake operating cable 5 actuating a front wheel brake is used as one continuous cable from an independent brake lever to a front wheel brake, and a fit member 29 capable of fitting/separating in/from a front wheel brake operating end 15F of an equalizer lever 15 is fixed to the cable 5. A rear brake cable 9 actuating the rear wheel brake is connected with a rear wheel brake operating end 15R of the equalizer lever 15, and an interlocking brake operation cable 6 operated by an interlocking brake lever is connected with an intermediate part of the equalizer lever 15.
