PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable that eliminates fear related to quality in the fixing work of the cable and has superior workability. SOLUTION: In the optical fiber cable, thickness sections 31 into which a nail, or the like, for fixing the cable onto a wall surface is driven are provided continuously in the longitudinal direction in a cable sheath 3. At the thickness sections 31, a through-hole 30 for allowing the nail, or the like to pass may be provided intermittently in the longitudinal direction. A fixing fixture (a U-shaped nail, a tack, or a screw) is directly driven into a tongue-shaped overhang section 31 for fixing the cable or the fixing fixture is allowed to pass through the through-hole 30 and further is driven or fastened, thus safely fixing the cable.
