PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for carbonization of waste woods, which is capable of producing economically efficient recyclables without induction of pollution by a continuous and stable process. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for continuously carbonizing chips of waste woods supplied to a hopper(H), the apparatus comprises an introduction pipe(10) connected to the hopper to transfer the chips; a carbonizer(20) rotatably installed at the downstream of the introduction pipe to transfer the chips in the insulated state; a combustor(30) installed at the downstream of the carbonizer in the insulated state to backflow combustion gas to the carbonizer as burning the chips; a discharge pipe(40) connected to the combustor to transfer the chips; a cooling means comprising cooling cylinders covered on at least a part of an outer surface of the combustor and the discharge pipe to cool the combustor and the discharge pipe by receiving cooling water from a supplementary water tank; and a gas combustion chamber(60) installed such that the gas combustion chamber is branched off between the introduction pipe and the carbonizer to burn gas in the carbonizer again.
