PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extrusion apparatus which can manufacture an extruded material with a very small dimensional variation satisfying a strength requirement sufficiently. SOLUTION: The extrusion apparatus 1 is equipped with an extrusion machine 3, a cooling device 5, guides 7, 9, and a puller 11. The cooling device 5 comprises a plurality of spray nozzles 23, an entrance opened on the side of the extrusion machine 3 and an exit opened on the opposite side of the extrusion machine 3. The guides 7,9 are installed on the entrance side and the exit side respectively and each guide 7,9 pinches the extruded material 13 movably. While the puller 11 moves pinching the top end of the extruded material 13, the spray nozzles 23 spray water over the entire periphery of the extruded material 13 pinched by the guide on the entry side and the guide on the exit side respectively.
