Clamp strap to hold fuel elements in - transport containers

Fuel elements are spring-supported and held in spacers by right-angle clamps detachably supported at the free end of one limb, and pivoted at the free end of the other limb on a pin and shackle arrangement at the lower part of the container. The fuel element positions in the clamp straps parallel to the limbs and hinged at the middle may be set by means of a screw connection operable from outside the clamp strap and engaging on the fulcrum of the straps. A torque limit device locates the straps on the fuel elements.
