PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive digital eddy current defect detection test device capable of performing efficiently an eddy current defect detection test of a pipe. SOLUTION: This device includes a calibration data registration means for registering the 'phase angle and defect depth curve' for showing the corrosion depth of the pipe as digital data in a recording medium, a phase angle setting means for displaying a phase angle display straight line 41 for determining the phase angleθby setting optionally the angle on an impedance plane 31, and an operation processing means for determining the place and the depth of a defect from the 'phase angle and defect depth curve' by always reading the angle of the phase angle display straight line 41, and displaying the result on a screen.
