PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear compressor capable of being assembled with high precision facilitating an assembling work in mass production, and minimizing the outer shape of a casing. SOLUTION: This linear compressor comprises a cylinder 2, a piston 3 reciprocating in the cylinder 2, and a linear actuator 14 for driving the piston 3. An inner yoke and a part of the cylinder which constitute the linear actuator 14 are formed integrally by a compression molding of a soft magnetic material into a cylinder-and-inner yoke body 1a.
