摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size while preventing generation of CO and reduction in heat efficiency, in a heat exchanger for arranging a heat exchange pipe 4 in a combustion chamber 2 faced with a burner 3. SOLUTION: A gas permeable radiator 7 is arranged in an exhaust port 5 of the combustion chamber 2, so as to be opposed to the heat exchange pipe 4. The radiator 7 is heated in red by heat of combustion exhaust gas of the burner 3, and the heat exchange pipe 4 is heated by radiation energy from the radiator 7. Even if the CO is generated by contacting with the heat exchange pipe 4 before the combustion gas completes combustion, the CO is converted into CO<SB>2</SB>by promotion of oxidation reaction by the radiation energy.
