PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axle housing with low manufacturing cost and high durability and reliability, and its manufacturing method and apparatus. SOLUTION: This manufacturing apparatus for the axle housing is arranged to extend in the vehicle width direction, and has cylindrical tube shaft sections J on both ends in the longitudinal direction, and a banjo section B at the center of the longitudinal direction so expanded in the vertical direction and at the back side in the vehicle advancing direction with respect to the tube shaft sections J. Also, this manufacturing apparatus is provided with a molding die 1 having a molding surface 2 formed in substantially the same shape as the tube shaft sections J and the banjo section B for housing a pipe material P as a material therein, a mechanical press punch 3 movably provided in the molding die 1 for pressing the substantial longitudinal center of the pipe material P housed in the molding die 1 against the molding surface 2 to curve it, a filler 5 for filling fluid in the curved pipe material P to apply inner pressure thereto, and a hydraulic press punch 9 for pressing the pipe material P with the inner pressure applied in the axial direction to widen the pipe.
