PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highest elevation positioning device of a cargo receiving platform for a cargo receiving platform lifter wherein a stopper is easily mounted, maintenance is also easily performed, and the entire height of a post is minimized without damaging the appearance. SOLUTION: In the cargo receiving platform lifter, a post 2 is erected on a cargo platform, a slider 3 is liftably inserted via the post 2, a cargo receiving platform 5 is supported by the slider 3, and the post 2 is provided with a stopper 26 for positioning the cargo receiving platform 5 at the highest elevation position. The stopper 26 comprises: a mounting part 27 to be engaged with a notch groove for permitting movement of the slider 3 formed on the back wall of the post 2 to the midway of the back wall 21; and a stopper section 28 connected to the mounting part 27 and disposed on the outer surface of the back wall 21. The stopper 26 is constituted so that an abutting section 35 of the slider 3 abuts on the stopper section 28 from the downside.
