PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluidization promoting device capable of promoting the fluidization of sludge effectively without enlarging the size of the device. SOLUTION: The fluidization promoting device is equipped with a header tank 1, a releasing valve 2, and a movable disc 4, wherein the header tank 1 is to store the compressed air temporarily, while the releasing valve 2 is kept closed at normal times and is opened momentarily when the air in the tank 1 is sent to the movable disc 4, and the movable disc 4 is formed in a shade shape from an elastic material and is operated by the air supplied momentarily from the tank 1 in such a way as hopping up from the inner wall surface X1, and by this motion, the sludge existing around the movable disc 4 is moved off.
