PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comparatively simple constitution that can improve the stability of a light emitting position and that can dispense with electric power supply in holding the position after it is switched, in an optical switch of a type in which a movable body with an optical reflecting member loaded thereon is driven by a magnetic driving circuit. SOLUTION: In an optical waveguide switching device 1, the movable body 2 with a prism mirror 10 for switching an optical waveguide loaded thereon is driven in the X direction in a state floated from a fixed side member 13 by the magnetic driving circuit. Then, when the movable body 2 is moved to a desired position in the X direction, power feeding to solenoids 45, 46 is stopped in a clamp mechanism 40, with the movable body 2 pressed to the fixed side member 13 by a clamp plate 41 and fixed. In this case, a V-shaped groove 30 formed in the movable body 2 is engaged with a V-shaped groove 31 formed in the fixed side member 13, enabling the movable body 2 to be positioned in the X direction.
