PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod having an adhesive layer having a uniform thickness and not causing dispersion of adhesive force, and hardly having curvature or eccentricity caused by adhesion. SOLUTION: A front-side outer periphery 2a of a joint-fixing member 2 comprising a tapered inlay is stuck and fixed in the inner periphery 1b at the rear end 1a of a rod pipe 1 at the front side, and the inner periphery 3b of the front end 3a of a rod pipe 3 at the rear side is fitted in the outer periphery at the rear end 2b of the joint-fixing member 2. A periphery groove 2c is formed at the intermediate within the rangeαof an overlapped adhesive part of the front-side outer periphery 2a of the joint-fixing member 2, and a part of an adhesion-inducing member 4 comprising an O-ring is embedded in the periphery groove 2c. The adhesive layer 5 is formed between the front side outer periphery 2a of the joint-fixing member 2 and the inner periphery 1b at the rear end 1a of the front-side rod pipe 1 at the vicinity of the adhesion-inducing member 4. A taper part 2e is formed between the front-side outer periphery 2a of the joint-fixing member 2 and the outer periphery at the rear end 2b, and a taper-shaped fitted part 3c is formed in the inner periphery 3b of the front end 3a of the rear side rod pipe 3.
