<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low core loss grain-oriented silicon steel sheet and its production method with which the uniform TiN base film in the grain-oriented silicon steel sheet is realized with an arc discharging system ion-plating. <P>SOLUTION: In the grain-oriented silicon steel sheet formed with the TiN base film on the surface of this steel sheet already performed with a finish-annealing, in this TiN base film, droplets having ≤20% area ratio are contained and average grain diameter of the droplet is made to be ≤2.0μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
