<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a PON (Passive Optical Network) system that neither requires a packet analyzing function of performing complicated processing nor oppresses a band by a control signal. <P>SOLUTION: The PON system is equipped with an OLT 1, ONUs 2, a star coupler 3 which connects one OLT 1 to the plurality of ONUs 2, and an optical fiber 4 as a connecting medium. The OLT 1 is equipped with an O/E-E/O circuit 5, a circuit 6 of PHY, an OAM packet/frame generating circuit 7, an IP packet terminating circuit 8, a signal detecting circuit 9, a user data detecting circuit 10, a transmission permission sequential allocation control circuit 11, and an ONU management table 12. The ONU 2 is equipped with an O/E-E/O circuit 13, a frame terminating circuit 14, a transmission acknowledgement detecting circuit 15, an overhead information detecting circuit 16, a packet buffer 17, a packet generating/transmitting circuit 18, and a link detecting circuit 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
