COMPUTER SYSTEM EQUIPPED WITH DISK DRIVE EASILY EJECTED BY EJECTION BUTTON AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF

摘要

PURPOSE: A computer system equipped with a disk drive easily ejected by an ejection button and a controlling method thereof are provided to easily eject a disk tray of the disk drive by using the ejection button installed to the computer system with a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: An ejection selector(44) generates a disk tray ejection signal of the disk drive(30) according to selection of a user by being installed to a main body casing. A BIOS(Basic Input/Output System) ROM(26) stores the BIOS executing a disk tray ejection routine(40) to make the disk drive eject the disk tray depending on the disk tray ejection selection signal received through a GPIO(General Purpose Input/Output)(42).
