<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor, an image forming apparatus, a program for displaying a download result and a method therefor for improving working efficiency of download. <P>SOLUTION: An information processor 100 processes information, based on a plurality of programs 111, 112, and 113. The download of the programs 111-113 into a memory 103 is conducted by a unit of download file 120 at a time. In downloading the programs 111-113, the result of the download is displayed on a display panel 105. The display of the result is conducted by selecting a mode to be specified by a display mode specifying flag 132 recorded in a header 120 among a plurality of preliminarily prepared display modes.
