PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk reproducing device in which device keys being different respectively for each device can be written when the device key is written or rewritten in a flash memory, and the device key is not leaked to a third person except a user. SOLUTION: An optical disk 1 used for writing a device key in a flash memory 20 is previously formed. And when the device key is written in the flash memory 20 using the optical disk 1, a system controller 14 discriminates whether a reproducing device side ID coincides with an optical disk side ID or not by an ID comparing means 141, when the both coincide, the device key is obtained from the optical disk 1 by a device key writing means 142 and written in the flash memory 20.
