PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous wax agent for washing a vehicle, obtained by selecting components to be used by obeying various kinds of laws and regulations as the aqueous wax agent for washing the vehicle, and properly combining the components to be used, and having good characteristics. SOLUTION: The aqueous wax agent comprises (A) a wax component, (B) a cationic surfactant, (C) anα-olefin-based solvent, (D) a carboxylic acid ester-based solvent, and (E) at least one kind of a glycolic solvent selected from a compound represented by the general formula: HO-A<SP>1</SP>-OH (wherein, A<SP>1</SP>is a≥3C alkylene group which may be branched) and a compound represented by the general formula: H-(OA<SP>2</SP>)n-OH (wherein, A<SP>2</SP>is an alkylene group in which the number of carbons in a linear chain is≥2, and which may be branched). The proportions of amounts of components (A) to (E) are preferably 1-10 mass%, 2-15 mass%, 0.5-10 mass%, 1-10 mass% and 5-20 mass% respectively. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
