PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of making a crown and a tray pattern convenient for making it which allow to join a fixture and a crown accurately, enable a dentist to make a crown easily because of the user-friendliness, and allow to make a crown economically. SOLUTION: A cylindrical tray pattern 8 which can be burnt by heating and is made of a material which can expand and shrink is used. The tray pattern 8 has a side 13, which prevents relative movements to an impression material 16 put on the tray pattern 8, on its periphery, and a hook 14 at a lower opening. An impression is taken with the hook 14 joined to an upper part of a fixture, and a temporary base 21 is formed under the tray pattern with the impression material attached, using an implant analog 17. The tray pattern is joined to the implant analog 17 of the temporary base 21, and the tray pattern is waxed up. The tray pattern which is waxed up is burnt in a cast. A crown is made by pouring a dental metal into a hollow part made after burning and by casting. |
