<p>The mold, for deep drawing containers from a thermoplastic film web (7), has an upper (1) and a lower (2) section, with the mold insert (5) at the lower section. The upper section has a hold-down plate (14) for each mold unit, with a sliding stretch former (15). In the extended position of the stretch former, a seal (39) is between the stretch former or a trailing barrier piston and a drilling (19) in the hold-down plate. The seal lies in a groove (38) at the stretch former or the piston. The groove is linked to a compressed air supply (41) through drillings (37), to apply pressure on the seal against the drilling through the hold-down plate.</p> |
