PURPOSE: A rear armrest for a vehicle is provided to use the rear armrest for various purposes and to use the rear armrest as a safety seat for a baby. CONSTITUTION: A rear armrest for a vehicle is formed in the middle of a rear seat of the vehicle and is rotatably mounted to a receiving groove forming a fitting projection to the upper part. The rear armrest includes a body(10) rotatably inserted in the receiving groove; connecting devices(20) installed to the sides of the body and to the sides of a receiving part, to make the body rotate and spread out; a first locking device(30) disposed to the upper part of the body and fixed to the fitting projection formed to the upper part of the receiving groove in use as the armrest of the body; a second locking device(40) disposed to the lower part of the body and fixed to the fitting projection of the receiving groove in use as a safety seat for a baby; and a safety belt for a baby(50) disposed to the rear of the body.
