摘要 PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an electrode for a fuel cell is provided to form a catalyst layer onto a diffusion layer directly and continually, thereby controlling the filled amount of catalyst easily and being capable of producing the fuel cell with good performance on a large scale and at a low production cost. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of: mixing a catalyst particle and a hydrogen ion-conductive polymer with a solvent system suitable to disperse or dissolve the catalyst particle and the hydrogen ion-conductive polymer to prepare a catalyst slurry in which the catalyst particle is uniformly dispersed; direct applying the catalyst slurry onto a diffusion layer in moving; and drying the applied catalyst layer to volatile the solvent and to allow the diffusion layer and the catalyst layer to be combined. Particularly, the direct application step comprises transferring the catalyst slurry into a coater continually or intermittently, and then applying the catalyst slurry onto the diffusion layer in moving in such an amount as to obtain the thickness of 1-50 m post dryness.
