FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, poultry farming. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus has light guides provided with transparent slot portions for deflecting light flux into each cage. Light source accommodating chambers are mounted on light guides and separated therefrom by special shutters equipped with drives and automatic control and illumination regulating units. Apparatus allows different types of light sources to be used, illumination extent in cages to be regulated within wide range of values, "dawn-sunset" mode to be set and light day time to be established according to preliminarily worked out program. ^ EFFECT: reduced consumption of power for illumination of cage batteries, reduced illumination system maintenance and operation costs. ^ 1 dwg |
