摘要 PURPOSE: An irrotational electrodeless discharge lamp system using a circular polarization microwave is provided to arrange an oval waveguide having a predetermined angle on a waveguide through which electromagnetic field passes such that the electromagnetic field is arrived at a discharge lamp in circular polarization using the gradient of longer and shorter axes of the oval waveguide, thereby extending the lift span of the discharge lamp. CONSTITUTION: An electrodeless discharge lamp system includes a rectangular waveguide(1) into which electromagnetic field is introduced, an input cylindrical waveguide(2), an oval waveguide(4), and a cylindrical waveguide(6) including a discharge lamp(5), which are sequentially connected in a row. The oval waveguide is tilted at 45 degrees to the horizontal axis of the input cylindrical waveguide based on the length, longer and shorter diameters of the oval waveguide.
