The method involves the owner calling a radio communication device after the device is stolen. A confidential code is transmitted to automatically implement a specific operation that is intended to avoid usage of the device and/or to warn a third person of the situation. The code is transmitted in form of short message service (SMS), DTMF codes, or voice message. An independent claim is also included for a radio communication device.
