PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent for preventing a plant disease or a herbicide, utilizing microorganisms having bacteriocidal activities against the plant disease, and easily providing a dispersion of the microorganisms on use by stably preserving the microorganisms; and to provide a method for preventing the plant disease and a weeding method. SOLUTION: The agent for preventing the plant disease, and the herbicide are obtained by wrapping a cultured product obtained by subjecting the microorganisms having the bacteriocidal activities against the plant disease to solid culture by using a carrier in a container having a meshed part. The hole diameter of the mesh is preferably 0.005-1 mm, and a filamentous fungus is preferably used as the microorganism. The dispersibility in water is improved by including a surfactant.
