PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal capable of protecting both a photographing lens and a display section and not impairing downsizing. SOLUTION: A digital camera 10 includes the photographing lens 16 and a display panel 14, the display panel 14 is accommodated at a position for covering the photographing lens 16 by opposing a display face to the photographing lens 16 when the mobile terminal is in a contained state and the display panel 14 is projected from a camera main body 11 by sliding from the accommodated position when the mobile terminal is in use, so that both the display face of the display panel 14 and the photographing lens 16 are exposed.
