PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical motor in which the complexity of control is largely reduced. SOLUTION: A spherical motor 10 includes an outside field sphere 12, and an armature sphere 14 rotatable on its inside. A field magnetic element is disposed in a magnetic region 20 on the field sphere 12, and a sensor/actuator magnetic element is disposed on the magnetic region 24 of an armature sphere 14. The field magnetic element has two coils for generating a regularly changing magnetic field in two-axial directions. The magnetic element for the sensor/actuator has a coil for generating the magnetic field in three-axial directions. The magnetic element for the sensor senses the magnetic field change of one cycle by a local field magnetic element and generates a torque all at the three axes as a center.
