PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wear plate capable of preventing a galling phenomenon from occurring even when foreign matters enter from a side face end of a sliding surface. SOLUTION: Since a groove 1d is formed parallel to the side face end 1h near the side face end of the sliding surface 1a of the wear plate 1, the foreign matter can be discharged outside through the groove 1d accompanying the sliding action of the sliding surface 1a so that the galling phenomenon can be prevented from occurring.
