PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize the central reddish portions of the timber of a Japanese cedar obtained from forest-thinning, as a top board of a table, in combination with other white timber boards, in a method developed for processing the timber produced in a massive amount as industrial waste. SOLUTION: A reddish member of the central portion of the timber of the Japanese cedar obtained from forest-thinning is taken out and made into a board-like body, while a separate board-like body is prepared from the surrounding white member of the same timber from forest-thinning, and these are so combined as to form a pattern material, which is used as the top board of the table.
