PURPOSE:To make it possible to minimize heat loss in the generation heating value of a gas burner and hence enhance thermal efficiency by installing an insulation means between a heat exchanger which is installed to the downstream side of a gas burner and an exhaust passage which is installed to the downstream side of the heat exchanger, and what is more, which exhausts combustion exhaust gas of the gas burner outside. CONSTITUTION:When a gas combustion device is operated, the amount of heat generated by a gas burner 3 is absorbed in water flowing in a heat exchanger 1 and combustion exhaust gas which has turned to a lower temperature after having passed through the heat exchanger 1, is discharged outside by way of an exhaust gas passage 21. Since the exhaust gas passage is designed to adjoin the heat exchanger 1 at that time, the combustion exhaust gas tends to rod the gas burner 3 of the amount of generated heat. However, there is installed an insulation means between the exhaust gas passage 21 and the heat exchanger 1, thereby minimizing the thermal conductivity between the exhaust gas passage 21 and the heat exchanger 1. Therefore, it is difficult to transmit thermally the amount of heat generated by the gas burner 3 to the combustion exhaust gas of the exhaust gas passage and hence minimize heat loss resultant from that. |
