PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that it is very difficult to attach a post to a plate when space on both sides of the plate is insufficient for the work of fitting a nut on a threaded shaft of the post and turning the post by means of a screwdriver or the like on the opposite side while pressing the nut fitted on the threaded shaft. SOLUTION: A post fixing structure comprises a post having a screw hole formed therein, a base provided with a threaded shaft engaging with the screw hole, and a plurality of projections formed around the proximal portion of the threaded shaft and a plate including a fitting hole having a diameter enough large to allow the base to pass through the fitting hole, and an engagement hole which is continuous with the fitting hole, the engagement hole having a diameter smaller than that of the base and larger than that of the threaded shaft and further large to such an extent that the projections are engaged with the engagement hole.
