PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device, and a device and method for recovery treatment of a recording head, wherein a high-grade image is recorded by removing ink remaining on the face of the recording head and avoiding degradation of an ink injection performance, while suppressing the number of ink injections in preliminary injections, when the preliminary injections to inject ink uncontributing to recording of an image from the injection port of the recording head are carried out after wiping of the recording head. SOLUTION: The number of the ink injections in the preliminary injections is changed based on the accumulated number of the wipings for the recording head, when the preliminary injections to inject the ink uncontributing to recording of the image from the injection port of the recording head are carried out after the wiping for the recording head.
