OVERHEAD CONSOLE STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overhead console structure for a vehicle that enables cost reduction by simplifying the configuration of a molding die. SOLUTION: This overhead console structure is constituted of a panel 22 and a console 20, each formed of resin, housed in the panel 22 to hidden in or be appeared from the panel 22. The console 20 is formed in a box shape having a projection shape when seen from the upper face, and a pair of shafts 21 and 21' each having a horizontal slit 21a are integrally formed with the box-shaped section on a side wall opposing to the projection section. The panel 22 is constituted of a frame section 23 fixed to a ceiling section of a vehicle and a console housing section 24 provided on the frame section 23 for housing the console 20 to be hidden therein and appeared therefrom. A bearing hole 25 is bored on a side wall of the console housing 24 rotatably supporting the shaft 21 and 21' of the console 21. Slits 25a and 25b connected to the bearing hole 25 and having the width enabling the shaft 21 and 21' to pass therethrough are provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
