<p>The ski boot consists of a lower section (1) which covers the foot and heel, and a leg section (4) which is pivoted to it. The two sections are equipped with stops (15,20) at the back. A fixed stop (20) on the lower section interacts with a movable stop (15) on the leg section which interacts with it and holds the leg section in an inclined position for skiing downhill. The movable stop has an attached arm (22) which passes through the wall of the leg section on the outside of the boot so it can be moved by a vertical pressure applied by a ski stick. The horizontal pivot (16) of the movable stop is connected to a sleeve (18) containing a screw adjuster or shock absorber. <IMAGE></p> |
