The device is assembled of an operating handle (12) and a tool (14) attached to the front of the handle (12). The tool (14) comprises a stationary (18) and a movable shaft (36) sliding along the stationary shaft (18), gripping and removing bone tissue (54) with the combined gripping and cutting area (20, 38) at the front. A locking mechanism assembled of a valve (154) regulating the pressure input and a button (80) acting on a spring supported plunger (156) can be activated by a second person in order to avoid an unintentional motion when the gripping and cutting area (20, 38) has to be cleaned during an operation. |
