<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging/discharging controller and a charging/discharging control method which appropriately controls discharged energy and charged energy to an energy storage device. <P>SOLUTION: If a charging voltage applied to an energy storage device 2 exceeds a limit decision voltage, an ECU 5 holds the power value at that time as an upper limit value of charging energy to a PDU 3, and the upper limit value of charging power is multiplied by gradually decreasing output limit coefficient until the voltage comes to be a limit release decision voltage or lower, with the result taken as a target value for controlling the charging energy, thus the charging energy is gradually limited. If the charging voltage to be applied falls below the limit release decision voltage, the charging energy is gradually restored using the target control value multiplied by the upper limit value of charging energy while gradually raising the output limit coefficient until the voltage comes to be the limit decision voltage or higher. If the charging voltage which is applied again exceeds the limit decision voltage, the upper limit value of held charging energy and the output limit coefficient are changed each time by less width. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
