PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system, a portable terminal device, a program, and an information storage medium for enabling synchronous playing by a plurality of portable terminal devices.

SOLUTION: Music data 222 and an allocation program 224 are downloaded from an information providing device and stored in a storage part 220 and the allocation program 224 is used to allocate parts to a plurality of portable telephone sets 200; and an information generation part 212 and a voice output part 262 are used to make each of the portable telephone sets 200 reproduce and synchronously play music for each part on the basis of the music data 222 according to each allocated part.
