<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide more precise decision of a transitional signal to hypnagogic state while energy metabolism in vivo changes from an active state to a sleep state. <P>SOLUTION: In a living body evaluation system 1, a living body signal analyzer 20 is equipped with a peak value detector of living body signal 23 which detects a peak value in each period of original waveform in living body signal data and with a power value calculator 24 which calculates difference between the maximum and minimum peak values every range of predetermined time from each peak value obtained by the peak value detector of the living body signal 23 and which sets the difference as a power value. The living body evaluation system 1 compositionally decides the transitional signal to hypnagogic state while energy metabolism in vivo changes from an active state to a sleep state, on the basis of change in time series of the power value. A new living body evaluation system other than conventional living body evaluations of which the indicator is only the Lyapunov index can be provided, wherein an active state in an anergy-generating system in vivo is perceived. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
