<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flavor-improving agent or a flavor composition which imparts a good body taste, a voluminous feeling and the like to green tea, a dairy product, coffee and the like thereby to increase palatability of the goods. <P>SOLUTION: The flavor-improving agent comprises an extract from malt obtained by extraction with a mixed solution of water and ethyl alcohol.
