PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse abnormal voltage applying test device capable of reliably executing a malfunction bearing test even if impedance of an AC power source line varies. SOLUTION: In the case of superposing pulse abnormal voltage 14 to the AC power source line 12 and executing the malfunction bearing test, when a crest value comparison part 7 and a cycle comparison part 9 detect that a crest value and cycle of the pulse abnormal voltage 14 are affected by the impedance variation of the AC power source line 12, a crest value control part 8 for detecting the impedance variation and controlling a gate firing angle of a DC voltage generation circuit 2 corresponding to the variation amount and a cycle control part 10 for controlling the cycle according to frequency variation with a non-stable multi-vibrator for frequency control which adopts a variable bias voltage method for a bias circuit are provided to supply stable pulse abnormal voltage 14 which is required for the test.
