<p>A door and a method for manufacturing a door are described. A door according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a split frame, or two frames. Each split frame is attached to an inner surface of a skin and a core material is poured onto the inner surface between the stiles and rails of the frame. The resulting door section is machined to a close tolerance and combined with a complementary section to form a complete composite door.</p>
