METHOD, APPARATUS, AND PROGRAM FOR STREAM SHAPER CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To autonomously set and identify stream contents data which need sending-out timing control for a stream distribution network.

SOLUTION: A view request message for stream contents is transferred from a client to a stream server part 205 and is also analyzed by a packet distribution part 203. When the packet view request is identified, information on that is reported to a request packet analysis part 204. When the request packet is a band request packet, the request packet analysis part 204 obtains band information from the packet and informs a buffer readout management part 207 of intervals of a read of a shaper buffer 206. When the request packet is not a band request packet, the request packet analysis part 204 identifies whether the packet is a use port request packet, and obtains port number information from the request packet when the packet is the use request packet to report it to the packet distribution part 203.
