PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a hard disc recorder to record a reserved picture by a simplified operation for recording the picture by reservation. SOLUTION: After ending a picture recording operation, the recorder stores the picture recording time information thereof on a hard disc 31, a main CPU 63 checks whether the same recording time information exists twice or more in the recording time information stored on the hard disc 31. If the same recording time information exists twice or more, it creates a picture recording time list and saves the list in a memory 65. For recording a reserved picture according to the formed recording time list, the list is utilized to set up recording time information as information for the reserved recording by a simple operation.
