PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric furnace for ceramic art capable of performing an optimum drying in a short time without leading to a failure by insufficient drying in a drying process, and significantly reducing the time to baking by enabling the immediate drying of a handiwork molded of clay in a specified condition within the furnace. SOLUTION: This electric furnace for ceramic art has a drying pattern for drying a handiwork put in the furnace over time separately from a plurality of baking patterns corresponding to biscuit firing and main baking. In the drying pattern, the handiwork molded of clay is immediately put in the furnace, and the furnace internal temperature is gradually raised to a predetermined drying temperature which does not reach the baking over time.
