<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To express states of two or more objects by one icon. <P>SOLUTION: A memory status icon displayed on a status area indicates the attachment/non-attachment of MS or the like to an MS slot or a CF slot. Namely, the memory status icon is set so as to change sixteen display contents and the MS slot can indicate six states, i.e. non-attachment, in recognition, unknown, normal MS, a lock state, and IOMS (a module loaded with IO functions such as a communication function and a GPS wave receiving function) by changing the display of the memory status icon.
