<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a prescribed luminance profile used for a backlight of a liquid crystal display and illumination, etc. <P>SOLUTION: A mixing chamber comprises a first face, and a second surface facing the first face. At least two light emitting diodes are disposed along the first face. At least a part of the first face is reflexible, and the second face comprises a reflecting area and a plurality of opening parts formed in the reflecting area. In a certain embodiment, the first face and the second face are separated by at least one side face. Light emitted from the light emitting diodes are reflected in the reflecting areas of the first face, the second face and the side face of the mixing chamber until it is emitted from the opening part of the second surface. In another embodiment, a structure body comprises a light emitting diode, a lens overlapped with the lens and a direction converting optical system overlapped with the light emitting diode.
