PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for keeping a normal operation by preventing the residence of a powdery body or granular body of a carrying matter within a carrying conduit or transfer device, and smoothing a drying process without performing the periodic inspection and internal cleaning of the conduit or device. SOLUTION: In the drying facility comprising the carrying conduit 15 arranged in communication with the drying matter feed port of a dryer; and the transfer device provided continuously to the carrying conduit 15 to transfer the drying matter to the conduit 15, a ventilation port 40 is formed between an inspection port 35 provided in an upper portion of the transfer device and an inspection port hatch for covering the inspection port 36, and the dryer is operated in a negative pressure state, whereby the outside air is made to flow in through the ventilation port 40.
