PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the vertical direction dimension of furniture and to easily assemble the furniture. SOLUTION: For the furniture, a latch component 50 is mounted turnably around a pivot on one rail 32 and a latch component side engaging part and a latch component side guide part are provided. On the other rail 36, a rail side engaging part for preventing the pull-out movement of one rail by being engaged with the latch component side engaging part in a drawer housing state is provided, and an elastic member for energizing the latch component in the direction of an engaging position with the rail engaging part at all times is provided. Also, in the drawer housing state, the latch component can be withdrawn and turned in the direction of releasing engagement with the other rail against the energizing force of the elastic member by the drive of a latch mechanism by the operation of a handle part, and a rail side guide part for enabling a drawer to be housed by interfering with the latch component side guide part and driving the latch component to be withdrawn against the energizing force of the elastic member when the drawer is moved back to be housed is provided on the other rail.
